Emily Leary is a comms consultant and blogger.
With over a decade of experience in PR and digital marketing, Emily’s experience in designing and implementing effective communications campaigns spans both corporate and consumer facing clients, including BT, Oval, Prima Poker and the Post Office.
Previous roles include Head of Digital at a multi-award winning integrated communications agency and Senior Digital Content Manager at BT.com, developing out its consumer social media marketing strategy, including launching and growing the BT blog, BT Facebook Page and building the strategy and practices that now run through the heart of the BT consumer social media marketing team.
Emily is a regular speaker on the conference circuit, presenting at numerous digital events, including BlogCamp, LincUpLive, Bedroom2Boardroom and Cybher, and has delivered bespoke presentations and training workshops to hundreds of organisations across the country, including The Prince’s Trust, the CIPR and the Environment Agency.
Emily is also co-founder of #CommsChat – a weekly Twitter chat for communications professionals that has grown to become the biggest of its kind in Europe and now runs under the steer of the well respected Communicate Magazine.
Emily also works with agents, venues and performers in comedy, theatre and visual arts.
